1883 Milano: inaugurata la prima centrale Elettrica Italiana.
A volte essere i primi in qualcosa non è un bene, ma in questo caso, è un bene ed un vanto!
L’Europa viveva
L’Europa viveva con la luce delle candele o delle lampade a gas, finché nel 1883 a Milano fu inaugurata la prima centrale Elettrica Italiana, che fu anche la prima del vecchio continente.
L’America era il nuovo mondo
L’America era il nuovo mondo, ed era la cassa d’espansione per tutte le principali innovazioni tecnologiche dell’epoca e già conoscevano bene le centrali Elettriche, infatti la prima in assoluto fu costruita a New York.
La “nostra prima” era termica
La “nostra prima” era termica, produceva con il carbone e alimentava 4 dinamo. Era capace di produrre circa 350 Kw, per l’epoca erano tantissimi.

La nota particolare è che era stata costruita al posto di un vecchio teatro in disuso e alimentava due famosi teatri Milanesi il Manzoni e il più noto Teatro della Scala…rinunciare ad un teatro per far splendere gli altri 2!
