Beatles: Giugno del 1965 l’unica tournée in Italia del gruppo di Liverpool

Beatles: c’è poco da fare, noi Italiani siamo troppo legati alle nostre tradizioni, alle nostre origini ai nostri valori…almeno lo eravamo negli anni 60. Ora le cose sono un po’ cambiate ed i giovani d’oggi nel bene o nel male sono parecchio più aperti dei giovani di un tempo.

Scriviamo questo perché nel 1965, esattamente il 24 Giugno, un gruppo musicale Inglese fece il suo primo concerto in Italia, esattamente a Milano al Velodromo Vigorelli e fu una mezza delusione. Questo gruppo era originario di Liverpool ed era composto da quattro baldi giovani, si chiamavano John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison e Ringo Starr.
Dal 24 al 28 Giugno del 1965
Il Beatles fecero una sola tournée in Italia, dal 24 al 28 Giugno del 1965, poi non tornarono più come gruppo in Italia, si calcola che in tutte e quattro le date, suddivise tra Milano, Genova e Roma non arrivarono a superare i 90 mila spettatori. Quando lo stesso anno a New York portarono in un solo evento oltre 50 mila persone.
Anche l’Italia iniziò ad apprezzarli
La loro musica non fu capita al momento, ma dopo qualche anno, anche l’Italia iniziò ad apprezzarli, tanto che sono diventati una delle band che ha venduto più dischi in Italia. Altri tempi…e di conseguenza possiamo dire che si tratta di tutta un’altra storia!

Beatles: June 1965 the only tour in Italy of the Liverpool group
Beatles: there is little to do, we Italians are too tied to our traditions, our origins and our values… at least we were in the 60s. Now things have changed a bit and the young people of today for better or for worse are much more open than the young people of the past.
We write this because in 1965, exactly on June 24th, an English musical group made its first concert in Italy, exactly in Milan at the Vigorelli Velodrome and it was a half disappointment. This group was originally from Liverpool and consisted of four young boys, called John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
The Beatles made only one tour in Italy, from 24 to 28 June 1965, then they never returned as a group in Italy, it is estimated that on all four dates, divided between Milan, Genoa and Rome did not reach more than 90 thousand spectators. When the same year in New York they brought in a single event over 50 thousand people.
Their music was not understood at the time, but after a few years, Italy also began to appreciate them, so much so that they became one of the bands that sold the most records in Italy. Other times… and consequently we can say that it is a whole other story!
