Esistono storie inventate che con lo scorrere del tempo diventano parte integrante della realtà e della cultura mondiale. Ed è esattamente come la storia di cui parlo oggi. Secondo voi, quale e la storia d’amore più famosa al mondo? La storia d’amore per eccellenza? Per oi è la storia di Giulietta e Romeo, due giovani innamorati ma divisi a causa dall’odio delle famiglie, i Montecchi ed i Capuleti.

Tutti quanti sappiamo dove era ambientata la loro storia d’amore e soprattutto sappiamo com’è andata a finire…ma nessuno sa o in pochi si ricordano come iniziò, dove e quando! Nel 1300, proprio il 4 Luglio in casa Capuleti, durante una festa, i due “piskelli” si incontrano e si innamorano perdutamente. Fu l’inizio della tragedia, l’inizio di un amore impossibile, ma che segnerà per sempre la cultura mondiale.
Si mormora che Shakespeare fosse italiano, di origini Siciliane, ma ad oggi non c’è certezza di queste notizie. Però per uno che non è mai stato in Italia, descrivere le ambientazioni Italiane in maniera così perfetta, fa molto strano. Ci piacerebbe veramente conoscere la verità su William, ma questa è tutta un’altra storia!
